GOOD JOB IF YOU CAN GET IT

I watched the tv last evening, as you do, and watched a programme on channel 4 called NICE JOB IF YOU CAN GET IT, well it was about the British political establishment.
we the British public, vote these people in to office, and in turn fleece as much as they can out of the TAX payer.
The average wage here in cornwall is about 12000 pounds a year, the politicians, make more than that in expences.... how can that be right???
What is more this money is not even checked for fraud.... any private firm giving this sort of money away would have some sort of paper trail to check for fraud, but not the politicans, they are above that sort of thing, and when they are caught, they investigate themselves!!!!!

POLITICIANS.. THE CHANCE TO LOOK GOOD

AS THE POLITICIANS SCRAMBLE TO BE SEEN AT THE AREAS OF DISASTER, WE SEE THE PRIME MINISTER HOVERING OVER FLOOD PLAINS IN THE SOUTH, ACTING LIKE GOD ABOVE, WE SEE MR CAMERON IN THE AFRICAN COUNTRY ACTING LIKE A STATESMAN, TO BE SEEN TO BE DOING THE RIGHT THING, WHAT EVER NEXT....... LOOKING OVER A PATIENT WHILST THEY ARE HAVING A MAJOR OPERATION DIRECTING THINGS, WHILST HAVING THERE PHOTO DONE FOR THE NEWS PAPERS.
WHAT WILL THEY DO NEXT, THIS UP MAN SHIP THING THEY TRY TO DO AGAINST EACH OTHER IS LIKE THE TYPICAL JUNIOR SCHOOL THING..... 'MY BROTHER IS BIGGER THAN YOURS'

WE HAVE GONE FROM THE FLOODS OF HULL TO THE FLOODS OF THE SOUTH, WE HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT BUILDING HOUSES IS THE ONLY WAY TO SOLVE OUR HOUSING SHORTAGE, AND THAT SEEMS THE SENSIBLE IDEA, SO WHY ARE WE BUILDING THESE HOUSES ON FLOOD PLAINS.
iF THESE HOUSES ARE IN KNOWN FLOOD AREA'S HOW ARE THEY GETTING PERMISSION TO BUILD THERE, AS THE INSURANCE COMPANIES WOULD HAVE SOME INPUT FOR THE LIABILITY.
AND IF ITS IN A FLOOD PLAIN, THEN THE HOUSES WOULD BE UNINSUREABLE, AND THERFORE THE MORTGAGE COMPANIES WOULD NOT GIVE OUT VAST SUMS TO PROPERTY BUYERS WITH OUT INSURANCE.
ME THINKS SOME ONE IS TAKING A BACK HANDER SOMEWERE ALONG THE LINE, SORRY I AM NOT ALLOWED TO SAY THAT, SOMEONE IS TAKING A GOLDEN HANDSHAKE

NHS......cant afford to treat u as its not cost effective

Well i am on my soap box again...... there i was listening to my radio, when i heard that a chap in the midlands had cancer of the intestine, his local NHS trust said that they could not give him a certain drug to prolong his life as it was not cost effective, EXCUSE me, did i hear that right.... yes you did...... the NHS trust said it was not cost effective!!!!! , well again i say excuse me, but did i hear that right, these people are here to help us through major/minor medical treatments, not to say sorry but you cost to much.
I hear and see the Labour party bang on how much cancer treatment in this country has changed over the last ten years, maybe it has in some cases, but in the vast majority, your local NHS trust will say YOUR NOT COST EFFECTIVE!

ITS A RACKET.... THIS WAR THING

these war games these big corporations keep on going on, is lead by nearly all of the major arms firms, we heard just a few weeks ago that BAE were not being investigated by the British government for corruption, as this would effect the relationship with the saudi's, well what TOSH, from the serious fraud office BEING told to drop the case by the British government, we can assume that the British government ,BAE systems, and the Saudi's have something to hide.
So much for this government being whiter than white when they came into power in 1997

peace envoy.....dont make me laugh

I see Mr Blair is now a peace envoy for the middle east!!!, well what double standards the major powers of the west set themselves, this is a man who with Bush set upon the most distastrious foriegn policy since suez, were more iraqi people have died under this distaster than saddam, is now going round the middle east as a peace envoy

PENSIONERS

Our pensioners today were yesterdays tax earners,
so why do we treat them so badly?????
The governments says it gives them TAX CREDITS to lift them out of poverty, what tosh!!
would you expect a 90 yr old to complete the complicated forms that the tax man asks them to fill in.......no, they, by what i mean is, the tax forms are difficult enough for me to complete, so how can we ask our pensioners to complete them.
Mr Brown, should make and give our pensioners a tax break, for them they should stop paying tax!!!!!!!

our senior citizens

Our senior sitizens,
are being treated with disrespect, for to long these people have been sucked along with the differing governments saysing we will look after you, and everytime, they have been sold down the river

NUCLEAR POWER

if the nuclear lobbey with all its lobbying power and money, gave just 10 % of its R and D to the green lobbey we would have the best renewable power industry in the world.
The nuclear power industry has unpresidented access to westminster, why???,
why cannot the green industry have the same access, because, i think the nuclear power industry has a lot of money to loose.
if the government thinks the nuclear power is the way to go, how can it think its green, when the bi product takes hundreds of years to become safe.
we all want green power, but to rely on the nuclear option is not GREEN, there are other options, which we should be pouring millions into, and not just into nuclear!

PENSIONS SCANDEL

did anyone one know of the new prime minsters under cover backhander he did whilst chancellor.
whilst everyones pension was going down the tubes, he made his and the prime ministers and the lord chief justice's pension FREE FROM TAX.
quite nice to do, and to keep it out of public knowledge hes done a very good job. I have e-mailed the Mr Brown on several occasions with no reply, funny that!
