THE EU

So are in the end game for the EU? So far the Cyprus farce is carrying on with yet another bail out the the country. But who will pay for all of this? 8.5 billion pounds or 10 billion euros In return for the rescue funds, Cyprus has to restructure its banking system under the EU - IMF plan The countries second largest bank known as Laiki will now be split into two, known as the 'good and the bad' So we know how the funding of the bail out will take... Not taking money from the banks ,but from deposits held within them Deposits above 100,000 euros which under EU rules are not insured, will be frozen and used to resolve the debt This will raise about 4.2 billion euros From recent years how long will Cyprus last, after this money has been used, what will the EU take next?

DOMA

DOMA Or as everyone knows it as the defence of marriage act in the USA THis is fundamentally wrong.... DOMA does not in this day and age, encompass all of the people in the USA. GAY, Straight If your gay and in a relationship and 'married', then you should by LAW have the same rights as 'straight couples' If anyone is wishing to move to the USA and your GAY, then each person has to apply for a green card, as they are not seen as a family unit, and the immigration dept may refuse one person their green card and moving to the USA is then scuppered for them. If your straight however, only one person has to apply for a green card, as DOMA sees the straight couple as a family unit. so how can this be fair? we are now awaiting the results of the court case in the USA

Mr murdock of sky Corp got the go ahead to buy more news
And Scottish football teams still don't get the idea that fighting on the pitch is a very bad

Political hand bags

Well the nu labour... Sorry Labour leadership contest is still going with the millibands predicted to come out on top.
I am thinking that David will eventually come out on top with his brother ed been given shadow foreign sec job, and ed balls shadow chancellor BUT Diane Abbott I am not to sure about.. Perhaps shadow leader if the house?
It's a shame really I would really wanted to see Diane become leader of the labour party instead of the usual White middle class, middle-aged males.... She would have been a great leader
But labour have block votes and labour MP's picking who they want with members having little say, shame, I think Diane would have been a breath of fresh air
